When the EV charger is working with other household appliances at the same time, the total current will easy to overload and causing power cuts.

With an external transformer and a settable value of max main current, the EV charger will automatically adjust the charging current (10A-32A) to fit the settled value. So the total household current will not be overloaded due to charging.

If DC or AC leakage occurs during charging process, the charger will break the circuit immediately. And the charger will recover automatically after the fault is cleared.

Also the charger will do the function self-check on the RCMU (Residual Current Monitoring Unit) before every charging.

According to IEC 61851, for the residual current protection of EV charger, the AC charging should be equipped with type B RCD or type A + 6mA smooth DC RCD.
